Here in the UK and some amazing sites in Europe, we are blessed with a huge choice of Stone Circles and Megaliths. These locations are perfect for Handfasting and other life ceremonies. There are many stunning locations, you are able to choose from a secluded Stone Circle or another setting for an intimate celebration to a more public place such as Avebury or Stonehenge.
If you would like to have your ceremony at dawn or sunset, then, these Temples are usually totally private at these times (except during Pagan celebration days).
Most Stone Circles and Megaliths are free to visit, some have small charges, even if only for parking. Stonehenge has the highest fees for visitors, additional fees are required if you would like your ceremony in the inner circle. Whatever you prefer, we, at Sarsen Celebrants, are able to help you make the choice which creates your perfect day. We will help you choose the venue, the timings, advice you on the ceremony wording, taking into consideration anything you would like included. Words are extremely important, and any vows have to connect both parties in a way that binds your love. Obviously for an additional fee we can also help with other arrangements which may be required, this is usually helpful for our overseas couples.
One of the reasons many of our couples choose to use our services is because we are a married couple who qualified together as celebrants, work together and are very much in love with each other and our surroundings. Every time we step inside a Sarsen Stone Circle, we feel the aura of these magical places.
This ensures we have amazing empathy with our couples and are able to ensure they have a day that will remain with them for the rest of their lives. To ensure the perfect day we would normally expect to have numerous conversations with our couples in the build-up to the day, either by phone, Facetime or whatever method suits, but allows us to totally understand you wishes.
