About us
If you’re here, you’re probably not looking for a traditional ceremony.
You’re looking for something that feels more like you. But you still want it done properly. A thoughtfully-crafted ceremony that allows you to let the moment unfold, relax into it, and fully enjoy it without worrying about what comes next. As a husband-and-wife civil celebrant team, we lead pagan-inspired handfasting, celebration of life, and naming ceremonies that celebrate love, welcome new life, and honour those who’ve gone before. We’re here to guide you through one of life’s most important moments, with care for the people, the place, and everything the day carries.
Our vision
As a husband-and-wife civil celebrant team, we lead pagan-inspired handfasting, celebration of life, and naming ceremonies that celebrate love, welcome new life, and honour those who’ve gone before. We’re here to guide you through one of life’s most important moments, with care for the people, the place, and everything the day carries.
Our Process
Non-religious ceremonies written for you, and only you
We bring old ways into the present through thoughtful, bespoke ceremonies, often held in ancient places where the land carries its own story, like Stonehenge and Stanton Drew. On the day, we facilitate the flow of the ceremony and the people within it, guiding gently so everyone feels at ease.
Our services
Non-religious ceremonies written for you, and only you
We bring old ways into the present through thoughtful, bespoke ceremonies, often held in ancient places where the land carries its own story, like Stonehenge and Stanton Drew. On the day, we facilitate the flow of the ceremony and the people within it, guiding gently so everyone feels at ease.
Handfasting Ceremonies
We lead vibrant handfastings that feel warm, joyful, and authentic to you, set against the backdrop of ancient UK landscapes and beautiful locations across the EU.
Celebration of Life Ceremonies
We help you say goodbye in a way that feels right. Sharing stories, remembering respectfully, and holding the space with care, so people feel cared for as they honour and celebrate a life together.
Vow Renewal Ceremonies
A chance to pause, smile, and choose each other again. We create relaxed vow renewals that reflect where you are now and celebrate the life you’ve built together.
Naming Ceremonies
A naming ceremony is simply a chance to gather your people and properly welcome a new little human into the world, surrounded by love, laughter, and familiar faces.
Testimonials
What stayed with them after the day
We were really pleased to have Sarsen Celebrants, Jane and Nick, conduct our wedding service. They met with us to discuss what type of service we would like and what wordings we preferred. We ran through them several times, making sure we were happy with everything. On the day the service was excellent, and everything we had hoped for.
Very professional throughout. We have no hesitation in recommending Sarsen Celebrants to anyone

Some of our locations
Gathering in historical, natural, and sacred landscapes
We work in a number of sacred locations that we’ve spent years getting to know. Each one has its own feel. Some are quiet and intimate. Others are more open and expansive. We’ll talk it through with you and help you choose somewhere that suits you and the kind of day you want.

Why choose us
Meet your civil celebrants
We’re a married celebrant team, and we work the same way we live, side by side! Nick brings his Druidry, his love of ancient places, and years of celebrant experience. Jane brings a lifetime of care from her work in the NHS. Between us, we’ve stood with people in moments of great joy and deep sadness. We bring all of that experience and respect into the ceremonies we guide.
There’s real joy in this work for us. We love leading people through moments of connection, love, and remembrance, and we feel incredibly lucky to do it together. Every ceremony genuinely leaves its mark
